My incredible love for Italian brands and designers is not really a secret. Its something that started long time ago, and was love that got transferred to me from my mother. That is also something I wanted to speak to you about today. We are half way through spring, strongly running towards summer, and for the first time ever I feel like I am somewhat ready. Well, probably not body wise since I had a huge pizza again last night, but at least wardrobe wise, as the hangers in my walk in are all filled with pastel colours, beautiful linen dresses and light spring coats.View Post
I recently became a huge fan of the baths. I say recently, and its not quite accurate. I was a huge fan of baths as a child, and then at some point growing up in this digital era got a bit bored of them. The whole laying in the warm water didnt make much sense to me, as I would think of all the other things I could do. Just like everything else, if you are having a bath you need to do it well, that is something I learned. First thing that made me change my mind were bath oils, I realised how much better they are then just traditional foaming stuff. My favourite bath oil to date is definitely Jo Malone Red Roses which was already featured on the blog in the past. I love it, it makes my skin soft, smells great and makes a simple bath feel like a spa experience.View Post
Destination? Lake Como, one of my possibly favourite destinations during the spring time. Brand? Cartier, my without a doubt favourite jewellery brand that depicts coolness and youth in its designs while preserving the story and classic opulence. I had a chance to spend few days with international bloggers, celebrating one of most iconic jewellery pieces ever – Juste Un Clou. A bracelet by Cartier inspired by a nail and created in New York in 1970s. This avant-garde piece of precious jewellery shows that even ordinary objects can be audacious and bold – for both men and women.View Post
Prva stvar koju uradim kada prolece dodje jeste ciscenje garderobera. Otarasim se 40% svega sto imam i trudim se da to drzim urednim. Dobro, barem nedelju dana.
Kupila sam i cvece kojim sam ukrasila kucView Post
Nowadays people often talk about feeling great in your own skin, and that is a concept I really like. There is just something so good about those days when I wake up, look in the mirror and instantly feel good, but then there are the other days when I do our makeup or hair and that adds the extra boost to our confidence.
I think that feeling great in your skin isnt always the same for everyone. Personally I love good hair days, tanned skin and red lipstick. Those things can never fail me. Recently I got an opportunity to try out the very new GIVENCHY Rouge Interdit range and it is something that definitely left the mark. Out of the 24 shades, I immediately picked my favourites. No, I couldnt just chose one, because that would be simply cruel, but I picked several for different occasions in my every day life.
The star shade of the collection, colour 13 or “Rouge Interdit” left a special mark on me, and on the places I visited that day. It was almost like the lipstick was saying “I was here”.View Post
ven though winter is pretty cold, and I am craving sunshine more than ever, I must admit that there is nothing prettier than sunny winter mornings. They are kind of like that tough guy that is nice to you only – you know what I mean? The appeal is difficult to explain. On the other hand I really can not complain, as in England winter means 15 degrees and its nothing like Serbia where I experienced this year some real freezing moments, such as -17 in January. Yep brrrr
Regardless the temperature, the imperative is to stay fashionable. Well ok, maybe not the imperative, but wouldn’t it be nice if we can stay warm, comfortable and look nice? I know, I agree. You see, we complain about the cold, but still I don’t think I would ever like to live somewhere where its warm all year round. I mean, what would I do with my boot and coat collection, and also wouldn’t it be pretty boring to wear the same clothes all year round?View Post
No matter if you like it or not, habit is something that is present in everyones life. There is a certain way we like our food, we like to walk to work, we comb our hair, or even watch movies. That habit of texting my parents to say I landed, or of kissing my sister goodbye even when I leave home at 4am to catch an early flight. Habits. There is also such a thing as a habit in dressing. If I give you 20 seconds to get dressed, the chances are you will put on something that you have subconsciously in your head as an outfit of habit.View Post
There is something calming about Swiss Alps, and no I am not talking about the quietness and slow pace of living which is generally present in Switzerland. There is this oasis of white untouched snow, fresh air, the sights I only got to see on post cards, until I got to St.Moritz. Sure I ve been to mountains before, and sure that skiing holidays were very common in my family, its just that since I am doing this job (of a blogger), I sometimes forget how important it is to reconnect with the nature.
Winter holidays are more than just that, its about a culture, life style, about apres-ski sometimes more than about actual skiing. Its all about the people you go with, about cosy nights by the fire, and of course fashion choices. I personally love being dressed in pastel colours, picking my favourite boots and bag, packing cosy knits, and favourite jewellery pieces. I was lucky enough to go to Swiss Alps with one of most luxurious jewellery brands out there – de GRISOGONO.View Post
Coat. That precious piece of clothing we tend to spend several months in. It has to be warm, comfortable, light, and stylish. It should look good, maybe have pockets and its colour needs to blend in with your every day life, so that you can wear it literally every single day.
I am a huge fan of coats, you might even know that every season I like to invest in a piece that will be amazing season in and out, piece that I ll be able to wear even in the spring. Just like the coat that is a star piece of this blog post. Yes, I am talking about the military coat in burgundy colour by one of my favourite designers – Ermanno Scervino.
Even though this post is mainly about the beauty of this outerwear piece, I couldnt not mention Paris. You know the city of love. Its river banks, the streets and avenues. I will be back soon, simply because Haute Couture Week is around the corner and its something I wouldnt miss. Dont forget to stay updated if you want to see more from the most extravagant and elegant week of first half of the year.View Post
Oh wow! I never thought it will be that difficult to get out of the festive holiday mood, and go back to work. I guess that is because I never really take holidays, I dont tend to give myself days off, because I dont know how to get back into work then. You know what I mean, right? But now with the fresh year and new month I am happy to embrace so many new things, to start with all the blog posts, with photos and outfits I have to share with you.View Post
