Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily Lipsticks

Recent trips around the Europe made me realise how much I have forgotten the meaning of true summer. Having lived in UK for almost 10 years I forgot that the real summer heat requires a different makeup regime, and that includes everything from the fragrance to your favourite lip product. While packing I threw in three shades of new Dolce&Gabbana Miss Sicily lipsticks that I thought would play an important role in my accessorising and will make my outfits complete - turned out I was totally right, and wanted to dedicate them a full blog post. So lets discuss :)

Rialto Bridge, Myths and Venice Canals

I briefly mentioned in THIS post how mesmerising the history of Venice is. The dark ages really marked this beautiful city, as well as the plague and different sailors travelling here. I love a bit of mystery, so you can imagine that I focused a lot of my time in Venice researching myths and haunted places, looking at some ominous sculptures, admiring beautiful art pieces and reading about its history. There is something really special about this place and I think I need to return several more times in order to really discover what it is. Its hard to say, but I know I love it and Venice fascinates me a lot.

Sunrise in Venice

If you've ever been to Venice during the spring and summer months, you probably know how crazy busy it gets. All the narrow streets get so busy that people traffic almost needs to be controlled, people catch each others shoulders while passing next to each other and everyone wants to take a photo of the same thing. My idea was to avoid all of this. I really wanted to see Venice to soak it all up without that persistent person selling selfie sticks or those annoying flying and glowing things that I always fear will land on my head (you know what I mean right?) I mean, if you ask me, these street vendors should be removed from such busy squares, as I can not focus on the beauty of this incredible square hiding so many secrets and stories while being offered yet another useless device. Oh well.

Venice After Dark

Disclaimer: You are about to enter a zone of darkness. Here is a completely different post to everything you were used to on the Glam and Glitter. As you guys know, I recently went to Venice. It was probably one of most spectacular trips to this beautiful city, because I got to see it at different times of the day. From as early as 5am to late at night, I normally always shoot photos for the blog in the morning because my photography style is very girly, airy and light, but I wanted to use this opportunity and mark two years of being a full time fashion blogger (or almost 7 all together), to publish something different.

Colourful Island Burano

I've always wanted to visit this colourful island called Burano, but in my previous two visits to Venice there just wasn't enough time. Since June was dedicated to exploring Italy and visiting my favourite places I thought it would be amazing to check this off my wish list too. We started the adventure around 11am, took a boat which you will see in my Venice vlog and headed to this place. Besides the colourful houses we really didnt know what to expect. If you are wondering who is we, I am referring to Dusan, my photographer and friend and myself. When we arrived I thought wow, people actually live here, in these beautiful and colourful houses, everything looked like a set in a movie.
