One of the very first blog posts on Glam&Glitter are exactly from Barcelona. Probably because this city has always been my absolute favourite, and even before I became a world traveler, I know it had something special for me. I believe that cities have energy, and that regardless of their beauty some cities attract us more and some less. I was about 12 years old when I visited Barcelona for the first time, and I knew it was a city I will visit again and again.View Post
If you followed my blog since the very beginning, then you know that I always appreciated quality. That is simply something in my genes, as my family always believed in quality over quantity. You might remember that the first designer bag I ever purchased with my own money was one by Louis Vuitton. I always believed in good stitching, finest leather and the design that is ever lasting. That is exactly why I opted for a bag by this famous French Fashion House and a reason that 8 years on I still wear it and cherish it like I did on day one.View Post
I’ ve seen Positano all over my instagram and I knew I wanted to see it for myself. The beautiful scenery, crystal clear sea, and the restaurants with gorgeous view. It seemed like a place out of a movie. Something you would see Audrey Hepburn in, and I knew I wanted to visit. I quickly starter plotting and planning my trip, and trust me it wasn’t as easy as I thought.
If you saw my Positano blog, then you know that on the way there we got lost. I mean from Rome we took a train to Naples and then accidentally ended up in Salerno, as I totally got it mixed with Sorrento. Kinda sounds similar, right?View Post
Nothing inspires me more than love, and I know I am risking being called cheesy, something that many people in my industry try to stay far from. Still, while reading books and autobiographies of people I look up to the most, I realised that love is also what was driving them, and inspiring them day in and out. Christian Dior was no exemption. More recently the incredible “Nose Of Dior Fragrances”, François Demachy was asked what would he do for love, his answer was
“For love? What wouldn’t I do?
I’d do the impossible, and push back all boundaries. Like Miss Dior!”
I am not sure what season is my favourite, but I love the carefreeness that summer brings. We don’t need all the coats, too much makeup or even those gloves that have touch screen enabled fingers. I love summer because the days are longer and I can truly enjoy good times with my friends, either at the beach or in town.View Post
Another post from Rome is here, and its the last outfit from this trip, but Rome is so inspiring that I find it hard to stop going back and writing about its beauty. Its one of those cities that can sometimes make it hard to find the right words, but also one of those cities that make me wanna write hundreds of words. Judging by the amount of movies, songs, articles and poems written here and about this city, I am certain I am not the only one that feels this way.View Post
It’s really not a surprise that I love, ok maybe not love but have a habit of getting up early when travelling. Now, what I really love is having the worlds most treasured buildings and squares all to my self while watching the sunrise and catching the most beautiful light you can imagine. It’s really something I would recommend to everyone out there.View Post
Imagine the beautiful cliffs of Amalfi, the infinite view on the blue sea and the fresh breeze on a hot day. Imagine observing the sunset from your Amalfi Coast villa , the citrus smell from the near by trees mixed with the smell of sea. Wildflowers and the laughter from a restaurant on the hill below you. Its a multi sensory experience. Now that is the emotion I have every time I spray on the new Tom Ford Mandarino Di Amalfi private blend for summer with the Acqua in the title, in the gorgeous blue frosted glass bottle. I love it.View Post
Home is where your wardrobe is, so Brighton is that place for me. Important detail, right? Well it is because it’s the place where I can wear what I really want and combine it in a way I want to because I am not restricted by only whats in my suitcase.View Post
I simply couldn’t resist not posting another set of photos from the beautiful island Burano. This place left me speechless and you can probably see why. So many colourful houses in one place left me feeling really inspired and happy, almost like a child visiting a candy store.
Since I visited Venice 3 times already I wanted to spend one day away from the crazy tourist spots and escape to an island near by. In my previous Burano post I mentioned how to get there and what I did on the day, so in this post I will just mainly talk about my fashion choices and few tips and tricks I didnt mention before. If you are interested in more detailed guide to Burano, then definitely check that post out, it will give you the information I was looking for while researching the place.View Post
